6s in a touring car? I would think you would get diminishing returns due to weight with 6s but I don't necessarily know what I'm talking about.

RC10T2 - Novak SS5800 - 7-cell GP3700
HPI RS4 Nitro MT - Mamba Max 5700 - 2S 5500mah Lipo
MRC Thunder King - Mtroniks Truck ESC + Feigao 9L - 3S 6000mah Lipo

Why do you want to use that castle controller? for 6S it's kind of weak for the 1920. a better option is to get a real car-controller.

What controller do u suggest for this setup then and the pacs that i found for the tourer are lighter than the 10 cell NiCd's i had in there with a 6 turn orion a couple months ago... The HV is said to be able to handle 50 Volts.... please help then

That controller is meant for planes, it has got no proportional brake and it is made for stick transmitters. what is your plan? speedrecord?

No speed record but i do want a lot of speed.... So i was trying to figure out a good set up im basically going to drag my car... What controller do u recommend that can take 22.2 volts and still give the power desired to run the 1920...

A 9920 or a Quark 80 would be my choice.

Quark 125 or the 80

22.2V in a 1/10th is insane.

11.1V is untamable power allready, so imagine 22.2.

What experience do you have with brushless in cars?

It is supposed to take up to 6s or 18 NiXX cells. Look at the product description on this site.

Daniel runs his with great succes on 5S, i thought this 6S thing was an issue, but mike had a conversation about this with the distributor or something. I thought it was addressed.

It is not addressed in my quark rene. I still can't run 6s with out the start up problem. I going back to a 4s packs. 7020 bk is an option. I would not run the 45 for the motor will draw more amps than the controller is rated for.

Peace!
