New BL Truggy Project - 09.29.2006, 01:22 PM

I am thinking about converting a truggy to brushless power. I think I want to get the New Mugen Seiki MBX5T, but not completely sure. What do you guys think? http://www.mugenracing.com/index_mbx5t.html . It will probably be a long project because I will need to save alot of cash in order to buy the high quality electronics, but at the moment I have enough to buy the actual kit. BTW I found the MBX5T for 420$ online. Pretty good deal IMO. Let me know...Thanks.

That is a good deal for sure.

I am currently working on a lightning pro-r, which is a rather nice and easy vehicle to convert as well.

Mugen is top-notch stuff. no doubt. when i am wrenching on my mugen, i got the feeling i am wrenching on a tool, a precision instrument.

Serum, if you need any help with it, let me know. I have done a few mods to mine that are supposed to help with handling ALOT.

Bump . . . .

Any more news on this? I'm considering either a CRT-Pro, or the MXB5T and am very interested in the results here.

Thanks!

how do you guys work out the spur issues?
steel spur eat pinions.
but if thats no problem or an easy fix, then a BL mugen is gonna be off the hook.
