Battery Strap/Hold Down? - 10.05.2006, 12:23 AM

I've ordered the FLM chassis (along with a pile of other parts) for an electric rustler. I'm wonder how others have secured batteries and electronics to the chassis or are there other parts for the chassis not pictured?

I read threw the other topic about battery straps, and came to the conclusion that nothing other then velcro type (g-maxx) straps is available.

Might have to custom make something... would love to see what others have done.

FLM makes some batteriestraps from aluminum for their chassis/gmaxx frame.

The FLM aluminum straps are for looks only IMHO and I will leave it at that. The Gorilla Max straps are tough, but will rip sooner or later.
My advice is to use the Gorilla straps and the OG E-Max straps together.

Keep in mind, this is for a Rusty, so the FLM E-Maxx straps are probably gonna be to long...
