Can you buy the Maxx X-Brace and just buy the top plates to save money? This way you can get the blue or red chassis! Or would this cost more?

yeah man look on gorillamaxx's website they sell them seprate in different colors

I think this ends up costing more, especially if you get the driveshafts.

I think it would look ugly because the top plates wouldn't be red, but thats just me...You can always get the G2R and then replace the bottom plate though...

If you talk to george (@g-maxx) he can probably hook you up with a special kit. The red bottom plate would probably be only a few $$ more.

to make it...
