I'm pretty sure that I'm getting this for X mas, what pinion would work well and what lipo should I use. I'm looking for speed and reliability.
Thanks guys.

My bad, my little rc18t. so you like the wraith better? This will be from my significant other, and i try not to explain too much as she gets confused worse than me. Maybe later I will try the Wraith motor. Question stills stands, thanks:027: Serum! LOL

Erh, well...

I only used the 8K with the stock sized tires and the 55t spur with the smallest pinion that comes with the rc18t..

Here she is on 6 GP 1100 cells..

After 1 run, the rear tires are slicks..

Very cool Serum. Is the 55 stock too? I definately want lipo in mine though and will do upgrades as things go to hell because I'm not sure of what all will need.

I am running the 6800 in my rc18T with 13/55 gearing and 6 cell battery and everthing stays cool, no fans or heat sinks. 55t spur is the stock gear for the 18T and the smallest pinion gear that comes with them are 12t.

Thanks Tazz! I got the 8000. But I heard the 6800 is better? I'm not gonna do much off road with this little thing, it's going to be a street rig, do you think I'll be fine? I want to run 3s lipo? stock gearing?

That is odd. Mine came with 60/10. I wonder if they changed this at some point in time for a particular reason.
Anyway, I just bought a 9200kv Dynamite C4/Quark 33a/3s LiPo for mine. I will be using this gearing at first (66/10), then if everything is in check, I will upgrade to a 12t then a 14 that I also have and see what happens with that. Unfortunatelly I have everything except the Quark, it won't be in till the 22nd of December according to my LHS. I'll keep you posted.
