Thinking of converting my truck - 12.18.2006, 12:38 AM

What's up all you Brushless freaks :027:

I'm thinking of converting my lst 2 to BL. I have a couple of ?s #1 Can i use a 7XL ya or na ?. #2 Can i use a Mamba maxx ya or na ?. #3 or should i use a BK warrior ?. #4

YES!! you should ! Now ; 1) Depends how many cells, imo 14 cells and a 8xl for this heavy truck would be good, or maybe 5s lipo would be even better! 2) Depends how many cells you are using, if your using more than 14 than its not to good to use , and it would put alot of stress on the esc since its a heavy truck. 3)BK 9920 with UBEC would be a very good setup!


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

YEAH Brushless is the bomb nitro has the smell and is cool but brushless is something that is just SICK.

So are you saying a 8XL would be better than a 7XL for this application on 14 cells or 4s lipo ?.

Pretty much! You could gear up for more speed and have great torque, or gear down for crazy power and accel. The 7xl would be good, but i just think the 8xl would be cooler and you could be alot more flexible on gearing options. Just my 0.02$.
