Help with Ext E-Maxx - 01.03.2007, 08:32 PM

I was wondering if anyone had pics of a ext E-Maxx chassis that showed how to mount the stock radio antenna. I don't have any idea at this point. I tried several things but nothing ever looked good. Any ideas?

Buy an aluminum antenna mount I believe HPI, DuBro, and others offer them.

It's an FLM chassis. It didn't come with any mount, just the chassis and the chassis braces and hardware. The antenna mounts mentioned, they don't need any extra fabricating do they? I'm a fan of bolt on and go. That and the fact that when i did try to fabricate something it looked like a 3 year old did it.

Most antenna mounts usually mount with a screw from the bottom, that's it, done!

i use old bulkhead brace. just needed to drill the hole right so the antena holds tight.

Interesting approach. That would work in a pinch.
