Is there a way to put 2.2 1/10 tires on the Emaxx
Are there adapters made?
What about buggy tires/usually 17mm. is thre a 14mm adapter made?

I am considering this for a brushless supermaxx sand project truck
High power to weight ratio, spyder 8/ with 100m oil - trying to figure some type of tires w/ less rotating mass. I already use proline 40 paddles, they are good but big.

Ofna and maximizer both make adapters to put 17mm hub wheels (1/8 buggy) on your maxx. I have the Ofna adapters along with ofna buggy wheels and tires, and they work great. I did a lot of testing a while back trying to put 2.2 wheels on the maxx with no success. Theyre all too small to clear the knuckles. The jato rear wheels would probably work with a drilled out 12mm hex hub to accommodate the larger maxx axles. I havent bothered to do this because I dont like any of the 2.8 inch tires made right now.

With smaller buggy paddle tires& 5s lipo ., been using a strobe slipper(locked w/washers. What type of gearing would you guys suggest. What effect would smaller tires have to keeping the thing running cool. Using 12020 (holiday special). I will being using a fan & Fiego 9xl to start with. I DO NOT
want to burn or smoke anything! Trying to plan ahead this time.
Plan on using gorilla carbon/single speed RCX suspension.

If your looking for smaller diameter tires, The Panther Komodo Dragons are perfect. They fit standard maxx size rims, but are super low profile and give you a tire diameter similar to a 1/8 buggy tire, but wider. They are referred to as cheater tires cuz they handle so well. Most MT races do not allow them.

So those panther maxx tires are simmular to buggy tires but a little wider? Specifically the panther paddle? That would be perfect, But what wheel/rim
has 14mm hex, then I could use my supermaxx 8mm cvd

You should be able to use any 14mm Maxx rim. Komodoes are the only tire that I know of that is a LP. Paddles aren't an option I don't think...

These are the tires Im talking about. 4.4" diameter. 2.2"wide. and they fit any standard size maxx rim.

Do those exist. Or even a beadlock 3.8 that is lightweight ,would be nice.

proline only makes 23mm rims for the 40 series and standard. i think that hpi has Nubz that might be 3.8 but there 17mm adapters. very truggyish:)

Maxx size wheels are 3.2" diameter.

40 series are 3.8" diameter.

The Low Profile Komodo Dragon tires will fit any of these wheels.
