What would DBZ look like if it was real? http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?vi...041985&cache=1

Stumbled on that on Yahoo!. A little cheesy at times, but pretty good overall despite the poor video quality...

You guys are still overwhelmed by the DragonBall Z anime?

I'm more interested in Naruto and OnePiece, now..:)

Personally, I think it's all crap really. Sometimes, I can watch an episode, but my interest wanders.

Family Guy. Now THATs a show!

So there's a relationship between rc and anime/video games, indeed.

If any of you got the chance to see Isamu Tezuka's Treasure Iland( veeeery old anime series), I doubt you'd call it crap.

I agree with you, though, nowadays anime is all about Whhaaaaaa.....transform into something new.....whaaaaa....super chackra, whaaaaa veeeery long arms....however, if I were to choose between Naruto, OnePiece and Bleach, I'd choose OnePiece, because of the nice drama touch it has.

I never really got into the Simpsons. Maybe it's because I didn't have access to it in its heyday since I lived out in the boonies where you were lucky to get 3 or 4 channels.

But Futurama is defintely another one I watch (I forgot about that one).

King of the Hill is good too, but not as good as Futurama and Family Guy IMO.

Captain, you're right about most of today's Anime is about transforming into some new ultra something or other... Seems like they spend more time yelling at each other boasting how much they are going to really kill the other than actually doing something. If I had to pick something, Inu-Yasha is OK. I can watch that occasionally.

Its funny that all of us guys are chatting about these little cartoons ;

What about discovery channel

I always watch mythbusters, how its made, how do they do it and all the others i cant remember..

But futurama is my favorite cartoon followed by family guy.
Bender is the best!

I watched two episodes of myth busters and didn't like it. They have a VERY loose testing method. Once of the episodes I saw was where they were testing to see if having lots of facial jewelry affected the chances of being struck by lightning. The more I watched it, the more disgusted I got. They made a half-hearted attempt of simulating a human head, but didn't take a number of other important factors into account. Having an electrical background, it was painfully obvious. So, to me, it was a useless test.

Yeah, it is funny we're discussing cartoons. But I figured people here MUST like them because many of the canned RCM avatars are anime characters, so I thought there must be a reason for it. Examples:

etc
