What is my LST2 BL worth $? - 01.15.2007, 12:04 AM

I'm considering ebaying my brushless LST2. Just wondering what I might get for it. I am on a very tight budget these days and considering just building a mini LST or rc18T. The mini motors and batt's (Lipos) are about 1/4 of the price of the 1/8 scale stuff. I only run up and down the driveway so any size should be fine.

The LST2 is completely decked out with BAC 2.0 steering link, (2) Hitec 645MG servos, Graphite chassis, single speed conversion, Tini gears, FOC, Tini shafts, Nova diff cups, aluminum diff outputs, 1600 Mah Lipo receiver pack, BK 9920 ESC w/Novak cooling fan, 9920 heatsink esc mount, XLT motor with Trinity heat sinks, 4S Lipo 3700, 8mans +2 gears, RPM a-arms, Tini turnbuckles, RDLogics heat treated shafts, Dynamite 23mm wheel adapters, Proline 23mm maxx size wheels, maxx size Badlands, 23mm 40 Series Moabs and chrome wheels, Team Losi wing mount kit, New Era wing mount kit,

I'd say you should put it in an auction and wait a bit till it reaches the desirable price.

I'd give it $900.

VERY NICE truck, though!

The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.
Nice to meet you!

The sad truth with ebay is if you part it out and sell off the pieces you will wind up getting more for it in total than selling it in one auction.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I hate to sell it and I really hate to tear it apart into pieces. I may just wait until someone wants it setup just perfect. I spent 6 months perfecting the entire setup. I will probably keep it before tear it down and scrap it.

Someone who is not skilled in building a truck would benefit from this one. It has the best of everything on it already.

I don't know what to do.

First off ; VERY NICE!

Id give that an ebay price of around 600 (sad truth).

Parting out will give you more, but it is a little more work to sell off.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

If i was JB, i personally wouldnt sell it, or keep the bl system/electronics for a future project and sell the roller, just throwing it out there.

i'd do exactly the same dom. you wouldnt get as mutch $ but you would have to sell as mutch, and wouldn't need to buy a new system ither.

Sent you a pm on lstforums.com. If you are serious about selling the whole truck, let's talk. I can offer more than what you will probably land on ebay.

That thing is so nice, and I would totally go for it, if I hadn't started another project.

Good luck selling. It is always sad to let something that nice go.
