Need help with my new radio. - 05.02.2005, 02:47 AM

I just got my JR xs3 pro last week (thanks Mike). And I believe I have adjusted everything the way it should be adjusted. I read the instructions what seemed to be a million times. The problem I am having is I cant get it to go full throttle. When I squeeze the trigger all the way, it does not get to full speed, maybe only goes about 80%. So I plugged the stock radio back in for comparison purposes, and couldnt even give it full trigger in fear the tires were going to disintegrate (dual brushless has a tendancy to do that I guess).
Please help, I am anxious to do a top-speed run on this thing but dont want to do it on an AM radio.
Thanks.

I have the non pro model. There is a setting that changes the % of throttle. You could set it to be 20% of full throttle, great for letting your wife drive :L: If you have adjusted this and everything else like you said then I would try reprogramming the controller with the JR.

turn on your controller, select the model you need to program, then hit the scroll button until you see TH epa, set that to 100percent and you should be all set.

I'm assuming you have the 9918 controllers. I meant reprogramming them. Don't mean to confuse you, but I think if you are using different contollers the speed controllers need to be reprogrammed each time you switch.

I have a schulze so there is no programming, but the warrior controllers needs to be programmed.

Yes, reprogramming is necessary. How about power in reverse? Any problems? Make sure the throttle channel is not reversed as well.

Power in reverse is fine. I have all the throttle I need for that.
I will reprogram when I get home from work today and let you know.
Thanks guys.
