E-savage BL and lipo - 01.23.2007, 10:29 AM

I am excited. I have wanted a nice BL monster for a while and I finally decided to just get an E-savage. I like the fact that it's lighter than an Emaxx and single speed. I've got a Mamba Max/ Feigao 9L with UBEC oredered. I've heard that it will hold up to that setup pretty well stock. I also got some offset dish maxx wheels and crimefighter tires coming.

I am calculating a 10 oz. weight loss by replacing the dual motor setup with the BL setup. I am also going to run dual Maxamps 2s 4000 packs which should save an additional 14 oz. of running weight. I figure the lighter the better to help the drivetrain cope. I should be a pound and a half lighter than stock. I'm going to make a few other mods to handle better on the track.

I watched a video of the truck (stock) running at a local track and was very suprised at how well it handled and how nimble it seems. I will be running the truck almost exclusively at local tracks and will see if I can get the guys to let me race a little with the Revos.:027:

Anybody else here have experience with this truck? Any Brushless E-sav experiences? Does it really hold up well or will I need a large supply of drivetrain parts?

Thanks.
