I ride dirtbikes (well, used to) and have ridden a quad and a 3-wheeler before.
I've been thinking of buying a Raptor 700R (or a YFZ450) instead of getting a new dirtbike (which would be a YZ250F).
The reason I dont currently ride is my dad tore his ACL back in ~02 and has been trying to recuperate ever since (2 orthoscopic surguries and 2 acl replacements - all on one knee!). We stopped riding then, I outgrew my YZ80 and we sold it. That thing was AWESOME - it was totally tricked out for full race [bought it from a sponsered racer] and it made my Bro's YZ250 look slow - even pulled wheelies in 4th gear when my dad was riding it!!!
Anyways, after we sold it I'm without a bike, and after my dad and I stopped going my brother stopped going and sold his bike, so now my dad's bike (YZ426F) is just collecting dust and I have no bike/no one to ride with. I thought about riding the 426, but I think it'd be too powerful (thing pulls wheelies in almost any gear and almost any speed).
Interestinly enough, the lack of offroad excitement is what prompted me to really get into the R/C hobby. I had a T-Maxx that I used rather regularly (few tanks of gas a week). After we stopped riding I started getting more and have finally ended up with what I have now (T-Maxx, Revo, Jato, FT 18T, G2R - and an E-Maxx which has since been sold).
yeah I ride them, abd hopefully when i get my degree from college in spring of 2008, the wife will follow thru , and buy me one like she said, after i finish school....i can't wait...but i have to pass my math classes first...but on another note they are a total blast to ride, even in the winter too
I had a 660 raptor but sold it last year when I got laid off. It was basically collecting dust anyways so I never got another when I started working again.
