Impressed and I haven't even driven it! - 02.27.2007, 06:52 PM

Ok, I picked up my Mamba Max 5700 Combo today from the LHS. Opened the box and I have to say, I am very impressed and I haven't even driven it... It comes with everything. Read the manual and you put everything in words that an electric newb understands! Few more weeks and I will be up and running, just need to decide on which batteries. And some other finishing touches. Expect vids guys! So far I am glad I chose Mamba Max!

Good to hear you like it! I think they are very well organized and well fashioned! I really like the long USB cable it comes with..

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Yep 1st class act as far as I'm concerned.First time I've ever seen a cd in that configuration and was a little concerned when I dropped it onto the cd tray.Worked fine of course and I love the PC interface.
I bet I have at least 9 or 10 castle creations products, the mamba comp x8000 in my rc 18t, the mamba max in my xxx-t and all my esc's for my airplanes are castle creations ranging from 25 - 80 amps. All have worked flawlessly from day one and I feel confident that if I ever need service work done it will be quick and as painless as possible.

they have my business for as long as they keep up the good thing they are doing

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

They ought to bring out the Mamba Monster Max as soon as possible.
It has been quite a long time since they've first anounced it.

The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.

I think manufacturers do it on purpose to build up the hype and anticipation. Then, when it finally comes out, they sell like hotcakes because everyone wants one...

Yeah, I think that works, but taking as long as CC has can be bad as well. I ordered my first brushless E-maxx set up in late December and wanted to get the MMM system (I had recently put the Mamba 25 with the 8000kv Mamba motor in my mini-t and was very happy with it). If I only had had to wait 2 or 3 months for the MMM I probably would have, but since it was 6 months + that I would have to wait I went with a Quark and Feiago instead. (although I'll probably get one one day anyway :005: )
