larger delrin/plastic spur for jammin crt conversion

larger delrin/plastic spur for jammin crt conversion - 03.08.2007, 09:13 AM

i have the kyosho spur on my jammin crt but need something slightly larger. i have read that people are using a 56t spur and the ofna 51 tooth spur. what parts would i need, with their part numbers to mount either one of these spurs.

Send me an email, Jim. If you like, I can make a diff adapter to mount the 51 tooth ofna spur to the CRT diff.

I think I might have been the one mentioning the 56T spur. I have had a custom 56T spur made up for my project and will be converting the stock 48T steel spur into an adapter plate. I really need bigger than 51T for my planned power system.

Mike, an adapter would be cool.

What I did is use a Savage 51 tooth gear grafted onto a Kyosho gear with teh teeth shaved down to fit insid the larger gear. It actually works great and isn't too difficult.

But a real adapter is the proper way to do it for sure.

Losi 8IGHT MM/Neu 1512 1900kv
Kyosho 777
T4 MM 5700
B4 LRP
XX4 MM 7700

The ofna 64 tooth ofna gear will also fit. I can't imagine needing a larger gear than that!
