barber poles? - 05.21.2005, 06:07 PM

hey guys; are the splines on the rear drive shafts supposed to be twisted like barber poles?

I'm checking over my new e-maxx and that is about the only thing I see that needs a little attention so far.

what you got in stock? just drop it off in the mail box LOL!

OK thanks. I like this truck BTW. lots of fun-till it started RAINING!

for some reason herman had hood springs for the rear and carb return spring for the front suspension,. I have that all sorted out. playing with shock oil right now.SINCE IT's RAINING!!!:-(

LOL. I do remember the front being a little soft! When you replace the pretzel driveshafts, remember to sleave them as I explained. This will hold you off for a while until you get the cvds.

I'd rather just take it apart once. you going to be around tomorrow? have CVD's in stock?

this business with the barn being closed on certain sundays is both good and bad.
good- I got my lawn mowed last sunday.
Bad- I got my lawn mowed instead or racing last sunday.

Oh BTW I'm talking about the rear axles. not the center drive shafts. :o

LOL! I appreciate your humor, Ben. I am chuckling as I type this! I have the cvds in stock. I don't usually go to the Barn on Sundays, but I may stop down to drop off Sam's completed e-maxx(just finished it up). I will bring some cvds with me if I go.
