Ahh! Reverse Treads?!!?

I was turning the nut to remove the wheels, but it wouldnt come out. So i spent a good couple of hours soaking the nut in acetone because i thought the guy glued the rims to the car. I had a similiar problem in 2 other tires on another savage. (i purchased them from same buyer). It was still stuck, so i turned and turned and turned, and than i hear teh fatal "SNAP". The nut with the protruding part broke off completley. So i tried to break the nut on the other ones buy dremelling the nut out. Anyway, eventualy when my dad try to get it out, he dsicovered it would loosen whiel turning RIGHT. WHY WOULD THEY EVER MAKE REVERSE TREADS! :035: :035: :035: What purpose are they for? You have to purchase special nuts too
