Wiped out 36120....problem? - 05.10.2007, 04:08 PM

After putting together my latest project, brushless Mammoth ST truggy,I took it out for test-n-tune.The problem, because it was test-n-tune I ran it without a body, got to carried away on the trottle and wiped out bigtime. The end results was one of the capacitors on my 36120 was torn clean off and lost.I have driven the truck since with no problems at all,no overheating or anything. The motor is a 9XL on 4 cell lipo.Is this going to be a big deal down the road or will need to replace the capacitor? Thanks

I would definitely replace the cap with a low-ESR version. Make sure it's rated for 50v.
