Is there a particular reason HB diffs are used for RCM 1/8 diffs? - 05.31.2007, 10:10 AM

Just wondering why the HB diffs are used in the RCM 1/8th scale diff conversions for the Revo and the like? Are there reasons these are preferred over some of the other manu like Mugen or Kyosho or Ofna?

Will other 1/8 diffs work? I doubt there is a std size, but just curious.
