Acceptable temperatures? - 09.09.2007, 03:44 PM

I have a 1515/1y/f with a MM in an E-Maxx that I bash and speed runs.
Now that I am up and running, I am tweaking my gearing.

What are good temps for that motor and esc?

Temps depend GREATLY on ambient air temps. I shoot for around 35*F-40*F above ambient. So, if it's 100*F out, 135*F to 140*F is good.

No matter what, I don't like ESC/motor temps over 140*F and lipo temps over 125*F.

Thanks Brian,
That is just what I needed. I'll monitor temps during my next bash session.
