Hyperion EOS1210i or 2 used ICE chargers?

I'm looking at getting a better set up for charging my NiCd's for my Revo's and Maxx's. I read that you can set up the EOS1210i with a balancer and charge 2 NICd packs at the same time, and this is one of my goals, in addition to setting myself up for lipo's in the future. I believe this will also balance the cells in the NiCd's similar to how it does it for Lipo's.
My other option, is to buy a pair of used ICE chargers. Price wise, its a wash (most used ICE run about 75-80).
I'm unsure about the above claim of charging two NiCd's at once. Anyone have one that they have actually done this with? Any other thoughts on these chargers would be much appreciated.
