Help me decide!!!! - 09.16.2007, 03:33 AM

I've been contemplating whether to upgrade to hybrid diffs and a lehner motor for my revo or start a new project with on a jammin x1 cr. The revo I have uses the stock chassis, 4s, mamba max, and 9xl. I've driven it around the yard/street and it drives great, but I know once I take it to the track I'm going to blow the diffs like I did with my maxx. I've realized that the revo and maxx takes some investment to handling brushless power and I've already spent too much money on my maxx which is discouraging me to spend more on my mild bl setup revo.

On the other hand I've been very impressed with my jammin crt I've converted not too long ago and have yet replace any parts yet. The crt parts are durable and can handle the power which is making me leaning towards purchasing the jammin x1 cr buggy.

If I get some input from you guys it on which to invest in it would greatly be appreciated.

I don't have any time with that buggy but I have been looking for a Lehner 1940 or 1950 for a couple months. No one has one in the USA. Just a thought for you. You might go with the new buggy.

This has been a similar problem for me too. I have just too many projects going at the same time, and none are ever getting finished.

I would finish the Revo the right way and then have fun with it. After its done, save up for the CR buggy. That way you won't have 2 unfinished cars.

thats a good point. I just hope the diffs are the only upgrade the revo will need for the track. I've realized the track puts a lot of abuse on a vehicle more than just bashing around in the street. After running my vehicles in the street for over a year I can not go back to that after going to a track...it's just more fun.
