Is it me? Or, do the old ss novak brushless 'es glitch with FM's? -

I was trying to get one running, in an Academy 4wd buggy and spent two days trying to figure out a nasty glitch from 20 ft on out. I tryed three radio's (futaba, Hitec SRX, and a Jr XS3)and got nothing, all glitched at about the same distance. I decided to try my 5700 mamba max setup, No clitch what-so-ever. I will know better tomorrow (2:30 am and only about 30 ft range on street lights). My question is, Am i the only one having troubles with novaks? Maybe my stuff is junk, but they all had the same range.
I do know everything was close, but it has happened with my stampede and radio and antenna is over three inches away on that one and the reciever is 5+" away
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
There lots of racers I know that use the novak GTB and the 13.5, down to the 3.5 in there TC's and it works fine no glitching........ I cant say as I use the LRP sphere TC...
It depends on the frequency/amplitude of the motor signals and the proximity of the motor wires to the antenna. It could simply be that some harmonic of the switching frequency happens to align with the radio signal causing interference. Are there any options to change the frequency in those ESCs?

How old is it?
I believe he is talking abot the old super sport esc's not the gtb.
Yes, the supersport. I had a similar problem last year with a SS the only radio that would work was my futaba and all, i mean ALL battery and brushless related stuff had to be on the driverside (left) and the radio stuff on the right. Since i got the mamba max stuff, I haven't had a glitch with any setup
