Calm down please, I'm sure there is a logical explanation for this.

I sent Dan an email with the link to this thread.

That's odd, Dan is usually very helpful and responds to e-mails almost immediately, hope all goes well.

I have sent him four emails. The first on Sept 18 and the last on Sept 28 with no response. I have tried Dan's email as well as the website's email. All with no response. He mailed a pinion and slipper spring in a brown envelope that apparently opened during transit. It arrived empty. He at least needs to know this is a poor way to deliver products so that he doesn't have other dissatisfied customers. Does that clear things up?

perhaps he is on vacation? or another unplanned/unwanted situation. Business is not the only thing that matters to a person.

Sounds fair to me..

but in order for a 10 days delay in reaction you choose to burn down a company by screaming on a forum that their service sucks?

Sorry if it came out like that, but I followed the rules I sent the email and got nothing. I put a post here and got some action. If he is just returning from vacation and sending out a lot of orders in brown envelopes with bad glue, he is going to have alot of disatified customers. If he doesn't answer how does he know?

We must have posted at the same time. Mike has an automated email answer. Maybe Dan could use that when he is busy so that his customers know he is working on it?

I sent another email to Dan yesterday. Thanks Rene for forwarding this thread. I got a response from Dan:

Yes. Sorry for missing your last e-mail. Have been a bit overwhelmed.

I'll see to it that after the holiday weekend another set is sent out.

Looks like I over reacted. The offer to remail the order is very generous.

I just wanted to be fair to Dan at Kershaw Designs and post this.

Today, I received replacement parts for what was lost in the mail. So, their customer service does not suck and I need to learn a little patience.
