Having trouble locating the BEC jumper on 9920 - 10.23.2007, 09:32 PM

Found the red programming one, no problem. I read it's supposed to be right in the same area, but I don't see it. I cut back the heatshrink and still saw nothing.

Any ideas?

It's near the red one, you might just have to pull back more of the heatshrink. Or, just pull the red wire out of the throttle cable. That does the same thing...

Yup, that's what I ended up doing. Literally! I thought I had the release pried up and....nope! PLOINK out came the wire....with the connector still in the housing. Whups.

I just luv the CC BEC. Call me a castlefanboy, but man, their stuff just flat works the first time you try it. I set it to 6 volts and POW I was off to the races. I used one of those cheap china BECs (absolute poo IMHO) and I got RX glitching, didn't seem to be able to hold the power up when the ESC was making large demands. With this thing, it ran smooth as glass under the same conditions. Love it.

9920 works great, but I can tell I don't have enough current to keep it happy. Seems a bit more sensitive to voltage drop than the MM. Now what I need is a 3S to go with my 2S and then we'll really get some beatin' in on my Hyper!
