bl-stup for the new e-maxx ? - 10.25.2007, 04:13 PM

Hi !

I'd like some advice on what bl set-up to buy for my new emaxx I'd like a top off the line setup so i guess it will be a lehnner motor and mgm essc right ? but witch ones ? woud 6s lipo pack be enough or coud i go for a 8-12s ?

I think 6s would be good for the E-maxx, just be sure that the diffs and tranny can handle the power...

The MGM ESC sounds like a good choice. Lehners are very hard to get, so I'd recommend a Neu motor instead. Something like a 1515/2.5d (1700KV) or a 1515/1.5y (1500KV).

yes the diffs and tranny on the new e-maxx are supose to handle brushless setups so i guess it will handle the power

For 6s I would say an MGM and a neu 1515 1.5Y (1500kv) or if you want a bit more power, maybe the 1515 2.5D (1700kv - the one I have).
With the lower kv motors you'll probably want to gear up a bit to see their full potential.
