As far as I know GriffenRU is the only one doing this mod. I would be interested in trying this as well if there were a how to put together.

Then again... If the MMM is only really only 2-3 months away, I would probably just wait for it.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Are you sure about that?!

Better yet, lets have Griffin make an adaptor that allows either parallel (200A @ 4s) or serial operation (100A @ 8s).

Pshaw, laws are meant to be broken... or is that "rules"?

I will put step-by-step instructions this weekend.
I am looking forward for MMM as well, would be fun to tweak that one and to check out Castle's version neumotor.

Not change the subject but, if Castle is planning on using Neu type motors they must have the fix to make their controllers work with that type of motor. That fix should make the brushless world a lot sweeter.

Definately. My only thought is that it was the segmented/slotted magnet that caused the issues between Neu motors & the MM esc; what if CC used a different type of magnet in their new Neus, then the programming fix wouldnt have been needed....

I for one am hoping that Castle sees the need to operate multi-pole motors.

Weither those motors are 2 pole, 4 pole, 6,8,10 or 12 pole, I hope they see the Quark kicked their butt that first round. Now it's time for them to redeem themselves and surpass the competition. I hope.

There is a post on the castle thread re MMM from Patrick that they have a software fix for mm for slotted motors in test and "should be releasing shortly" - Pinch of salt required until seen

You have to give CC some credit. I bet that they have sold more Mamba 25s than all of the Quark controllers sold combined! It would be nice to see the MM work with neu/aveox motors. I have a Plett maximum and it works fine on a MM, including very smooth startups.

They've said a fix for the problem should be out "soon" almost as long as we've been expecting the MMM. I'm wondering what CC's definition of "soon" really is...
