Here is a spur gear adapter that can adapt the 51t to center diffs like the Jammin CRT, Losi, and a lot of others. It looks like plastic but it is metal. I think it will also work with a 62t gear also. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=MUGZMT008.
There are few others that sell this adapter. It is made by Mugen. Here is the part # MUGZMT008
This might be a good part for Mike to carry.

Mike has made one these for me too. His are better because they are aluminum and much lighter wieght. But the Mugen adapter isn't bad for being ready made.
Spoke too soon I guess. Its not perfect. everthing seem to look like it was going to fit, but now that I trying it again, I noticed the hole for the drive cup shaft in the center of the adapter is only 5mm and needs to be 6mm. I think I will drill mine out. The only thing is, I think it is hardened steel.
Ok, it was simple fix to drill out. It's not hardened. I used a 15/64 drill bit and about 1-2 minutes of filing with a round file (6mm drill bit might be better). Now it is good to go.
If you don't have a lathe, it seems the best use for this adapter is only with a Mugen dif as I don't know of any other manufacturers using 5mm output shafts.

Remember the mugen uses 5mm out drives & most other buggy's use 6mm out drives. So if your using this on any buggy other than a mugen your outdrives may not fit.
Sorry but this didn't turn out to be the easy ready made spur adapter I was thinking it was going to be. I was able to make it work but one of the toughest things was after I drilled it out for the 6mm out drive the recess for the O-ring was too small. With a lathe this may be an easy fix, maybe.... I used a drill to spin it and a dremel to make the recess bigger. also the screws holes to mount this adapter on the diff need to be about .5-.75mm further out. There was some other work I had to do to this thing to get it to work too. All in all, it's not an easy deal.
