Trinity E-MT Brushless Motors? -
11.08.2007, 08:50 PM
Hello,
Since I went brushless a number of years ago I've not even thought about Trinity Motors. Of course back in the 1/10th days, the D5 was the bomb...anyway, I saw this on RCCA today:
Trinity DUO 550 brushless monster motor
They (Trinity) don't have info posted on their site yet...do these motors hold any hope for us? I'm anxious to ditch my old Feiago style hot and inefficient motors. Neu looks awesome but until they work on the MM or until the MMM comes out, I'm kind of locked in my motor choices.
What do you guys think of these Trinity motors?
DM

LOL!
You guys where (untill now) the only brand who i knew of who screws their endbells on with three screws..
That and the PCB made the link to Novak.. You know, like ants remind you of a bad summer in Austria..

I also think they are made by feigao. I believe they already make trinity's 10th scale duo motors.

So as not to be misunderstood, Feigao must now be copying our HV motors.

Much like those ant, cheaply made motors could ruin the summer, and not just in Austria...
Remember trinity previous motors? They looked just like feigao 380c motors, with no kv specs! Their MT motor then looked alot like this new motor.

as Dr glass pointed out this is just a new version of the already common feigao design used by orion, speedpassion, mtroniks, gm etc etc.
I would be interested to see how much air is being moved by the internal fan and how hot these new breed of feigao motors.
@novak2
lets be honest i don't think its possible to make a motor that's roar,brca etc legal whilst looking entirely different to novaks motors.
