Anyone heard of Air thunder lipos? - 11.15.2007, 12:35 AM

My buddy called me and told me about his fun the past few days.....

http://www.airthunder.com/catalog01/....php?info_id=6

They claim there packs dont puff, My buddy was just telling me about these in his planes, and he says they work well, and he runs no cut off..... He runs them down darn low (around 2-2.4 volts a cell in a 6s 2200 mah pack)

Just wondering if anyone has used them in there cars, or even heard about them?

Sounds pretty cool, but I wonder if they would work in a truck (Id borrow one of his packs, but all he has is the 6S 2200 packs)

I bought a pair of their 2200 2s packs and intend on making a 4400 2s pack to run in my xxx-cr. They are very light and small, and seem to be well put together. I think that they are the same cells as the kong power batts that lutach tested.

They use the same cells as KongPower. I have 2 2S 5000, 2 3S 5000 and 2 3S 2200mAH packs. I ran my 1/8 scale buggy with the 2 3S 2200mAh for 25 minutes without an isseu.
