Hi guys, just thought I'd toss out some recent pics of my CRT.5. The original thread is lost in the Temp forums somewhere.

Thats looks really good . Im conveting mine right know, im going to use the stock kit tires for mine right. I think they are better for racing offroad beause there is a huge tire selection & they are lighter.

Thanks dude. Yeah, I still have the stock tires for the track if I need them. I may get a set of 2.2 truck bowties and try them out too. I hear they work well.

Time to dig this one out of the grave...

I did a little re-vamp on my crt.5 and changed up the motor, lipos, wheels/tires, and added in a koolflight ubec. I was running a Lehner Basic XL 4200 on 2s Neuenergy 5000's, and am now running a Medusa 36-50-3300 on 3s Neuenergy 3900's. After running this set-up for the past day, I'm very glad I switched over. The main goal was to get the amp draw (& heat) down, but in the process, I've also gained some more low end as well. Thanks again to mike for the motor and speedy shipping. Hope you enjoy.

Nice...I am in the process of redoing my crt.5 as well. Mine will have a 3300 Medusa on 2s w/a mm esc.

Don't you think that 2s will be a little slow with the 3300?

read again, says 3s after the 3300

FOOT IN MOUTH! I need to read again! I didn't see the post right before yours. However a 3300 on 2s should still be able to be geared up for some decent speeds
