G'Day, Just thought I might show a pic. of the Jato that I have converted to brushless.
I am runnung a Neu 1515/1D motor.
It used to have a MM 5700 motor but for some reason the magnets broke into 3 pieces.
Plently of torque with this motor I have had to lock the slipper clutch as it kept on spinning even when tightened right up.
Running metal tranny gears as the nylon one don't last 1 battery.
It will leave the 3.3 in its dust.
It has unreal take off speed.
I have got the tranny locked into second gear. ( first gear has now been removed)
I am runing a 54T Spur gear and a 33T pinion gear.
The only issue is that if you are at say 3/4 throttle then give it full throttle it will just filp over.
It may be a tad overkill but it is a real fun truck to drive plus it teaches you more about throttle controll.
What kinda battery / ESC setup are you using? with a 1d and it doesnt look like your using much more than 3S... you'd be pulling close to like 200 + amps right?

This isn't meant to me a smart ass comment (as I am prone to.. not when I'm this new to a forum tho ), but there a heaps of already electric stadium trucks getting around that would be easier to "convert" (not much of a conversion lol), so why did you choose to convert a Jato?

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
