Tamiya Boomerang Vantage buggy of the 80s.... -

I got this super old thing from my lhs which I've found it thrown aside by chance. It's worth over $500 at someplaces in the net and I only got it for 120 dollars...a real deal, I say.
The only thing missing is one diff joint and the instructions.
Does anyone know where to find the manual?
Thanks,
Al.

I really need a manual to put it together, otherwise it'll just stay like that forever.
I think I'll buy Tamiya's rereleased Hot Shot buggy, since the Boomerang's chassis is based on the Hot Shot and thus I can have two legendary ancient buggies at my hands.

I got a boomerang from a buddy for giving him a ride, put a 7700 mamba max in it and had a blast! until i drove on pavement then both diffs blew out. I still got $80 for it on fee-bay. they are fun cars, and the front monoshock is so cool!

It's "Dr. _paralyzed_" actually. Not like with a PhD, but Doctor like in Dr. Pepper.
I've found someone who wants to sell his Nikko Super Sprint( NIB) with it's Nikko Brat Conversion Kit for $700....
Shall I go for it? ( I had one like 11 years ago and it was a real blast from the past, but for $290 without the conversion kit). Or do you think a brushless converted MBX-5T is better?

actually a buddy of mine raced his boomerang with us int he 1/10 oval and offroad class... let me tell ya... that boomerang broke a lot... LOL but it's funny to watch..
It sure does, Aqwut. Just check out the quality of it's plastic. This thing is no place for brushless at all or even powerful brushed motors to say the least, but the reason why it is so sought after is because of it's age and the place it has in Tamiya's history. It's no where near today's machines, but it surely was a super popular buggy in the past and I only got it to go back to the days of the 80s. It's a vintage kit, a classic to put on the shelf.:)
