The React really is a nice radio if you can use all of its features. I know because it's my radio of choice . Here are a few of them, that I think are most beneficial:

-computer connectivity, to update firmware and adjust things and save settings
-totally adjustable/programmable channel settings (3rd and 4th channels can do whatever you want them to do)
-BUILT-IN telemetry
-alarms/alerts based on data from the telemetry or information from the TX (for example, if the Lipo in your truck is about dead, an audible alarm and vibration can let you know about it)
-lightweight
-I'm running a 2s 2100mah Lipo and a 5v switching regulator in mine, so I have even less weight and longer runtime
-Spektrum RX compatibility (worked great for me, until my truck with a Spektrum RX was stolen)
-tank mode/mixing capabilities (haven't tested it yet, but a future project of mine will make use of this feature)

Downsides:
-cheap looking
-standard Nomadio receivers are large (but of course, Spektrum RXs will work just fine)

I used to have an R-1 a while back. I liked it, but it was WAYYY too much radio for the average person to use. Stuff like ABS wasn't needed, even for a racer of my level. If I was Adam Drake then I would think about getting it, haha.

I just got a DX2 system, probably gonna get a DX3 for those 3rd channel operations. Most of my trucks are 2ch though. I also just got a 2nd Rx for it too. I can't wait to try it out. I don't need my MX-3 system anymore if someone wants it for a decent price. PM me.

I had a react until my truggy was stolen a few days ago. First rx didn't work. They sent me a second one and it would overheat and not work until it cooled down. 3rd worked but would just drop out suddenly with no warning, and the range was hoaky. also the battery they give you is crap, lasts about 30 minutes between charges (something like an 800 mAh crapper). Made my own 2500 mAh pack but it was a pain to fit in the Tx. I dunno, not going to knock it but I will be trying something else next go around.
