It is stated that it is the only one around. Funny, I thought Leroy had put a center diff in his maxx long ago. I love how people state something is rare yet is not.

Please view the misadvertised maxx! Not to mention, how many have owned the gmaxx and HV combo's? I have!

Lol, gotta love "creative" marketing.

I also like it when he said "Then we move to the Novak HV Maxx 4400 brushless system on this truck. It will have no problem pushing this truck past others in the blink of an eye." - maybe true unless others are running powerful BL systems.

Personally, I don't like the sharp angle of the front driveshaft. That's gonna cause a decent amount of mechanical friction (heat) IMO.

Pshaw... amateurs!

Well, considering I mailed him about the truck being rare. It is false advertising needless to say. If someone would did not know much about BL, or that type of truck would be getting screwed IMO. I just don't like the fact how he advertised it. It has potential to be nice, but he could have worded the ad much much better. I just have to laugh when people sell things or word their ad as "rare" just ot make a buck. It is disappointing IMO.

It is a nice truck, but its far from rare or amazing. Candyman put a center slipper in his truck years and years ago, and it was much better made than that ebay item. As for the amount of work done, it doesnt look like that much really- a couple metal plates with a CD bolted between them, and a big lump of black stuff bolted to that sandwich for the motor mount. No doubt it works, but yeah, the angle of the dogbones is too steep for my liking too. I messaged him with a link to MaxxBling, and some advice about parting his truck out to make more money- shall we take bets on how much he'll make at auction close? I reckon about $600.

Nothing negative about this auction, but I wouldn't use a 3.2mm shaft with the pinion sticking out THAT far.

Hard to tell; but is the shaft snapped of or not? If not, it will probably snap with the first couple of runs. a gearing ratio of 1:12 with that motor and a non sintered rotor will heat it up pretty badly too.

the first centerdiff that was put in an emaxx was made by Promod, he put it significantly lower than this person though.

I believe you have made one or two CD Gmaxx chassis vehicles too Serum- that Revo was pure sexyness! I can just about see the motor shaft in those photos (flash from camera is bad)- it is well short of the spur and would need a long shank pinion to even work. Funny though, the bids are upto nearly $600 already- I raise my guess to $850. Any links to ProMod's build- I love different stuff like that....

Are you the seller? LOL, I think the truck has potential, ie: chassis. rebuild diff mount....but the ad, it's all about the ad....

Most vehicles are worth more parted out. It's really whether or not you're willing to put the time/effort into tearing it down and selling every little part. There's a point where you reach a diminishing return so most people sell a roller and electrics seperately.

I wouldn't be so hard on this guy. There's always going to be the guy who thinks he's the first at doing something. Most times, its been done before just not publisized.

Oh hey, did you know that I have the first 4WS Race Revo.

considering that he stated he is here all the time, then he must know this is not the first. Would that not be considered trying to scam someone? Here is a copy of the message he sent me.

Dear troy3565,

I love it how people take the time to hate. Just because you can't afford this truck move on to your own junk. I have been all over RC monster. And also, that center diff. plus the gorillamaxx chassis alone is worth over $500. Get a life, don't hate out of jealousy.

Most of you have seen my junk by the way. :)
