Sidewinder Specifications - 01.21.2008, 09:17 AM

Afternoon all.

I was just wondering if the full list of specifications for the Sidewinder ESC have been published anywhere? I am about to buy an ESC for my brushless CRT .5 project, and I would like to try and find out what the differences between the Sidewinder and Mamba Max are, before buying.

Cheers
Andy

Have a look at the chart for a guide on usage...

Does Sidewinder replace Mamba Max?
No, the Sidewinder series is designed for sport customers. Hard core racers will still demand Mamba Max power, just like the national champion drivers do. Sidewinder is an exciting entry point for high performance brushless offering approximately 2/3rds of the extreme power available with Castle’s Mamba systems.

So a MM is rated for abouy 100A - Sidewinder 66-70A

Which is still plenty for most 1/10 stadium trucks, buggies, etc...which it (and the MM) was originally designed for.
