Temps.....mamba max and 5s...suggestions? - 01.27.2008, 06:09 PM

i ran it today and all went ok...no smoke or bad smells

xt8 with MM/fan/novak cap/holes in case, 9xl, on maxamps 2s+3s 5k pack,
geared 15/48

temps were as follows on a 38*f day

mm..90*
batterys..85*(3s) and 95*(2s)
9xl..120*
start power low
timing lowest
punch 50%

if i am thinking right i should gear up 1 or 2 tooth , but will the motor temp come down or will the esc. get hotter?

anyone running a similar set-up?

i will be getting a neu , or mmm when $ comes around

Temps don't sound bad, I would run it like that for a while and keep an eye on temps under different conditions. Is this a new MM?
