I received the motors from LincPimp yesterday. I'm itchy for the next TNT, to try them out. These are Feigao's 380 series, clones of the the C40 series hackers. They are a bit shorter then the hackers as you see in the pics the 6L is pretty quick on 3s A123.
The first pic is the 6L Feigao. The second pic shows the S and L cans comparison.
Yeah, it looks shorter judging by the outside dimensions, but in looking at the exit points of the wires, the coils are probably the same exact size (or very close to it). The hacker just has more end cap space...
Forgot to tell you, make sure that you put some thread lock on the setscrew that holds the front endbell on. They tend to come loose and the motor will rotate. I even got some motors that did not have setscrews, but they are the small metric ones that are in most 48p pinions.
I bashed around with the 6L, with about 2 packs through it. Then I noticed it just spun freely...the pinion shaft has moved inwards!! I was like WOK DU F*K (that's the asian in me that came out)!! I dissemble the motor and found the magnet moving freely of the pinion shaft.
Any suggestion on how to glue this thing back into place? Or just give up on it?
