The Flux motor should fit in a truggy. It's basically the same motor except the heatsink is different. Good test.

Hmmm. For your testing, is the battery topped off? I would set the LVC to 3.0 per cell, just to be sure that the LVC isn't an issue. This is a recent development, correct?

It could be the...

I've only run my MMP in 1/10 vehicles with servos that are suitable for said 1/10 vehicle. No problems at all. The MMP is made for 1/10. Usually, 200 oz/in servos are not necessary for 1/10. The MMP...

The MMP is sweet! I only tried it up to 3s, but I did overgear the snot out of a Tekin 17.5 in both a T4 and SC10. My motor got very hot, but the controller was bearly warm. Never got the fan to turn...

That is a Kyosho center diff and Kyosho center diff mount. They bolt right in with no mods (5T or 6T). This is an older setup that a lot of people were doing in order to use a plastic spur gear....

I would use the old MM. The MMP has less FET's... Someone more knowledgeable than me told me that it might be a 50-65amp controller at most. It is made for 1/10 scale.

My first race with this truggy was at the Runn a couple weeks ago. I came in 2nd in the 10-truggy field. I got beat by Dekotah Phend. He always seems to just beat me...by 2 laps.

Good thing the center diff mounting holes haven't changed. I use the Kyosho center diff in order to use the plastic spur. I still prefer the plastic. These are all parts that were in my MBX5T. The...

Punch control is a good tool for track tuning, but needing 100% to maintain control, means something else is wrong with the setup. 100% definitely makes mid-air (nose-up) adjustments difficult.

Hmmm. I have an M8 and I've used it with Mamba25, Sidewinder, Mamba Max and Monster Max. All I've ever had to do is start with a cleared model.

I do it this way too. It's like making your own keyed connector. I also harness the battery wires about half-way down to prevent the "plugging into self" scenario. Works great.

RC Product Designs stuff is top-notch. The long waits should be over too. Dan is now running RCPD full time. Until recently, it was a part-time venture.

I was running a receiver pack (with regulator) and decided to try the MMM BEC. When I did, I started having the exact same problem. I went back to the Rx pack and all is good.

What happened to the 1y? I sent my 1515 1.5d/f because of a failing (or worn) bearing. They replaced the bearings and balanced the rotor for free. Didn't even charge me shipping and had it back to me...

I run a 1512 2d/f on 4s in my ERevo. I don't just think it "will work," I think it is the right motor for the ERevo. It's a much lighter motor and don't forget that the ERevo has a transmission. It...

Welcome!
You're on the right track. The ERevo is nice (I have one) but it's nowhere near as durable as most 1/8 truggies. It won't handle nearly as well either.
First, you have to pick your...

I run a 1512 2d/f on 4s in my ERevo. It's a great setup for racing. I can run as long as I want with no fear of overheating. I ran a 30 minute main a few weeks ago and motor temps were in the 120's....

Just because sensored hasn't worked out well with conversions (so far) doesn't mean it will NEVER work. Sensored smoothness for my big MT and 1/8 truggy sounds very intriguing to me.

Most of those truggies are pretty good. I haven't tried the X-Ray yet. I think they can all be set up to win on the track, so I base my decision on toughness. I pick Mugen.
