well i will agree that hitec has come a long way they do make some really good servos. but i do think that alot of servo problems are because people dont set there end points an travel.

i found that a 16 tooth pinion works good in mine but it just depends on the track size. im also running a four cell an my motor is a little over 1800kvs.
