Yes there are ways to get wires better connected. Two of those appear in my mind.

1) Pb free soldering. The special Pb free solder contains silver and does have better conductivity than old/normal...

Pretty much true, but Medusa as an exception, their motors have 9 slot stator and 4 pole rotors.

And they are 12 points too, so it's not the slot count determine the points, it's 3x rotor pole...

They didn't, but probably they do now, because IMO hall sensor is a must for BL motors in servos to hold STATIC TORQUE--and it looks like a LOT of static...

I'm going to drive a brushed motor with my MMM, reversing needed. The manual says to leave the white wire floating but the MMM has NO WIRE at the motor side, just 3 gold 6.5mm sockets....
