KB45 front endbell stripped, now what?

The screwed on front endbell of my kb45 is loose. When I ran it it just spun on the mount. (not the endbell, that was tight to the motor mount, the whole rest of the can and wires spun) The only thing that stopped it was those darn stiff tinned motor wires, which now looked like braided line.

So now what? The threads are toast, so I can't just loctite it and retighten it.
