One important tip I'll throw at you- don't make ANY lightening holes until you are 100% certain where all the components and batts are going. Test run it a few times first also, that will tell you where you need to remove weight.

For the CVD end placement it really doesn't matter, but it looks like you already have drive cups on the trans, so the diff end would be the logical choice?

Very cool solution using the LST trans, pretty sure that's a first...
