CC is replacing all damaged V1 ESC's, they are not repairing them so you will get back a new replacement ESC. The warranty is 1 year as well so you are well within the warranty period. Call them up and send it back.

The way we are handling V1 is this -- we will replace any V1, in warranty, out of warranty, etc.

When should we send them back? I live in Australia and will probably take 2+ weeks to get to you?
