They say nobody has gone bellow 2.00 yet and that's what I'm shooting for. I don't know how much to sell the 200A esc for.

Sell the esc for as cheap as possible

I'm sure you will work out a competitive price , when you do PM thanks as i will use it in my 2s speed record pan car .

Question on the speed car , do you think heavier lipos are better or lighter ones . I am looking at either the SMC 28c 4000mah or 5000mah packs , but i am thinking the heavier battery would help keep the car on the ground .

Any other battery you can recommend that will handle the amps drawn with the Vortex 2.5t motor and gearing you recommended . I have chosen the SMC packs as i know they will fit in the car i am buying and they are top quality cells .

2.00 with a bike is impressive , good luck on the challenge .

I'll let you know. I'm going to make a chassis for my TC3 that will allow 2 2S hard cased lipos to be used so I can wire them in parallel, so yes the weight will help you keep the car down. The 30C hard cased packs by Enerland will be plenty good. If you have 64P gears ditch them right now. I use 48P and if you're going to do speed runs use a 65T spur and the biggest pinion you can find, but you can basically use BrianG's calculator to give you an idea of what to gear the car for.

I will have to see if the Enerland 30c will fit the car? I don't have the car yet so i am waiting for guys to give me some measurements of what will fit in it .
Luci i ddin't think you could alter the chassis in the 2s speed scale class ? or is the TC3 for another use.

I am using a 48p 72T spur , couldn't find any smaller in 48p and will start with pinions from 22t - 26t as that's what i have at the moment , should get me going for now .

Well the chassis will be my aftermarket type chassis for the TC3. My TC3 has an after market chassis in it now. Everything else will be stock. If a dragster can be in the spec class, so can my TC3 . As for spur and pinion check this out:
