Aveox is a 4 pole motor right? The vxl esc has an rpm limit, and using a 4 pole motor means the esc is seeing an rpm level 2 times higher than it actually is, so the esc throttles back the motor when you excede that limit. Stick to 2 pole motors with the vxl esc, or upgrade to a better esc like the MMpro.

That makes sense....I guess im running the stock motor for now till i get a new ESC..
