The different colored stripes on the springs just show the stiffness of that spring. All the springs are rated differently, and some colors are stiffer than others. It just depends on your driving, since some people like there car stiffer than others.

LOL I thought that was your picture! Nice! The spring differences are the stiffness.

Its nice to see someone else taking the same route, Im sure this will turn out just as good if not better than rchotrodz's E-revo. The lengths some people will go to just to keep their other-half happy..... ;)

Just count yourself lucky that your other half lets you indulge in such frivolous endeavors. And she should count herself lucky for getting a e-revo conversion... most people would just get their wife a cheap mini or 1/10th... but you, my friend, are going whole nine yards with this thing. I can't wait to see what it looks like when you finish it.

There's two sides to every schwartz, he got the up side and I got the down side.

Thanks neil and rschoi. She does stuff like this for me too. For Christmas she said she wants to get me an Axial Scorpion crawler and an Xbox 360. I'm a lucky guy :)

Here's a picture of said girlfriend on my Jeep (which is another project in itself)

hey at least my wife buys me (1/1 real car) stuff every now and then but NOT supportive at all as far as hobby stuff goes HATES MY E-maxx hates mt TC4 drifter too! note: drifter resembles my my hopped up accord!(mini me)

My e-maxx spends way to much time on 2 wheels sometimes even while taking a turn!

Actually, I don't have those tires anymore :)

Here's before and after pics. I can give you guys a link to RCZ with all the build up specs and progress pictures. It's almost done, awaiting parts.

Haha! Those tires look like MOAB's! It appears quite capable, bit too small for my tastes however. Nice slogan, too.

Started out by making the basic mounts for the battery trays. I'll have more mounting positions in the end with countersunk screws on both sides instead of one too. No pic of this, it's self explanatory.

Here's pictures of the stock diff arrangements on the front and rear ends.

Here's the chassis completely stripped down.
