Hmm, motor is cooler than esc, so sounds abit under geared- could/should be able to gear up a tad bit further in theory. Still, those temps sound pretty decent, but it looks like something took a dump on it (what is that brown dribble?...).

Mud. Dunno how it got there but it came back from one of the passes with it on the lid. Yeah, I figured I needed to gear up.

Actually, since the motor is cooler than the esc it would be overgeared.

Actually, the motor ISN'T cooler than the ESC and the tires break loose instantly, so I'd say it's under-geared. You guys are also confusing me since you both said the opposite of what I posted, haha.

I am in so much trouble....

I just took PinkVo out for another run and ended up breaking the shock mount on one of the front arms, broke the antennae tube, and the gunmetal gray is flaking off the body! She's gonna kill me when she finds out!!!

Videos will be out soon!

I was just going off of what he said. I didn't look to see the temps, but a cool motor and hot ESC means its overgeared since the motor will be pulling to many amps and cause the ESC to get hot. Its the opposite for undergeared.

By the way, did you happen to lightly scuff and wash the body with soap before you painted it? If not, thats why the paint didn't stick.

I did wash and lightly scuff the body. If you look close, it's only the gunmetal, which was in the "lexan" section but apparently doesn't stick well. My Pacra (sp?) Chrome did the same thing, yet was "lexan" specific paint.

I managed to confuse myself again with the whole hot/cold motor vs cold/hot esc thing- I dunno how I do it, must have been tired.... but yeah, cool motor+hot esc = over geared. As for the damage- hopefully she is very understanding, otherwise you'll be on the couch for a week.....

We don't have a couch, haha. She wasn't mad, just told me since I broke it, I have to fix it. She lets me off easy when she really shouldn't!

I found one. She is fully supportive of my Hobby and as long as food is on the table, the bills are paid, and we have a roof over our head she pretty much lets me do what I want...... except own more than 2 RC's but that is space limited.

they are rare but exist. seems gtx found himself a good one too!

Where does one go to find such a woman because I need to place an order! Mike should start carrying some of those.
