The Neu motors are more efficient than the feigao/wanderer/nemesis motors. Since you've got a controller that is capable or running a Neu i would jump that opportunity.

The ebay idea is neat too, you can always decide what to do. If you depend on a setup, and can't have a thermal shutdown (in races) get a neu.

For a 5S setup i would take a 10XL, and if you need speed, get a 9XL and GOOD lipo's. (batteries are usually the limiting factor for the power a setup can deliver.)

is the neu more efficient because of the four pole setup or are they just more efficient motors? I am sick of doing things twice so i'll probably start with the neu, crazyjr and serum have done the learning the hard way for me, so now the question is: WHICH NEU MOTOR DO I RUN ON 5S LIPO IN A HALF ALUMINUM E-MAXX, MORE CONCERNED WITH POWER AND RUNTIME THAN SPEED
