Yeah, al would be better, maybe an angle mount to tie the bulhead and the motor to the chassis as well. For the 2s 3800 setup I would stick to a 5700 mamba motor and use a 12 tooth pinion, or smaller. The 2s battery will have to provide a fair amount of amps so I would stick with a smaller motor and lower gearing. With 3s you should be able to move up to a L can feigao, which will be much better and have more power than the mamba motor. A 9l on 3s will be a nice combo, 14-16 tooth pinion should put you near 40mph, which is plenty. I am not sure how well the limn batterys hold up and what the discharge rates are. Assuming they are 20c rated batts the above suggestions should be ok. I would really suggest you go with the 3s setup and the feigao L can motor, you will be much happier with the performance and the temps of the equipment will be alot cooler. For info purposes I had a mamba 6900kv motor on my ls10 and it got over 190f in about 5mins. The esc and battery were also hot. I was using a 5000mah 20c 2s maxamps pack, that little mamba motor was just too loaded with the 4wd setup. I really do not recommend the mamba motors in anything other than a light weight 2wd 10th scale vehicle, or a 10th scale on road car. They just do not have enoght torque and have to have soooo much power to perform.
